Q. Where are you located?
A. Please see ‘How to Find Us’ on the website. We are about 100 yards from the Centre of Stubbington, not far from the shops and library.
Q. Do you have parking facilities?
A. Yes, there is a public car park adjacent to the Centre. This Car
Park allows 24 hour car parking and is free. In addition there are
two disabled badge holders car parking spaces in front of the
Q.Can we reach you by using public transport?
A.Bus - Yes, the number 34, from Gosport and Fareham, 33, 35A from Fareham only and 72 from Gosport and Southampton. They all stop in Stubbington village which is two minutes walk from the Centre.
Train - Fareham has a railway station and this is two miles away from the Centre.
Q. What time do you open and close?
A. The reception office is staffed from 9am (although nursery and
sports injury clinic visitors may access the building from 8am). We
normally close at 10.30pm (Monday to Fridays), and 9am until 5pm
at weekends. Other times may be available subject to the Centre
Q. How do we know what you do at the Community Centre?
A. We produce a ‘What’s On’ detailing all our groups and classes.
Please call in at the Centre to obtain one or look for more details
on this website under the groups/hobbies menu.
Q. Do you offer a photocopying/fax service?
A. Yes, we do at very competitive prices. Just call in when we are open. We even do it for you!
Q. How do I hire a room?
A. Just contact us by telephone/fax us on 01329 662821, email us on ccamanager1 (at) googlemail.com or come in and we will tell/show you about the rooms available ensure they are suitable for the your needs and how much it will cost?
Q. Can I be assured a room when I have booked it?
A. Yes, you can. We will ask you to complete a hiring agreement which will then secure your booking. We can take bookings up to two years in advance.
Q. What will be in the room we hire?
A. We will set the room up for you providing the tables and chairs you require. We simply ask you to leave the room how you found it!
Q. Children will be involved in my activity?
A. All of the CCA staff have undertaken an Enhanced CRB Disclosure and the Centre has adopted a Child Protection Policy for the protection of children and vulnerable adults.
Q. What about the security of our personal property whilst on CCA premises?
A. The CCA cannot be held responsible for any personal possessions brought into the Centre. All portable electrical appliances must also display a current certificate showing that it has been tested and complies with the appropriate legislation. This is for health and safety reasons for all our users.
Q. Do you have a ‘loop system’ for the hard of hearing?
A. Yes we do in the reception and in the main Crofton Hall.
Q. Do you have a café?

A. No we do not, but we do have vending machines stocking tea, coffee, soup,a variety of cold drinks, confectionery and crisps.
We also have two large kitchens where room hirers can make drinks and prepare their own food.
